I'm Brooke and I built Adamas because I learned everything the hard way.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology, a Bachelor of Nutrition Science, and a Girls Gone Strong Women's Coaching Certification. I'm a published scientific author in the nutrition space. On paper, I had every tool I needed.
In reality, I coached myself straight into hospital. For 6 years straight.
I believed that longer, harder, more was the answer. More sessions, more hours, more output. What I got instead was burnout, no results, and a body that forced me to stop. My doctors eventually took me off the gym floor entirely not because I wasn't trying, but because I was trying too hard in all the wrong ways.
That experience changed how I coach. Because knowing the science isn't enough. You need a system that works with your life, not against it. One that teaches you how to rest without guilt, progress without obsession, and actually enjoy the process.
I started coaching in 2020 from my parents' backyard, too intimidated to walk into a gym myself. I built my confidence rep by rep, and now I find genuine joy in being strong. I've gone back to competitive dance. I have energy. I feel like myself again.
